About the artist

Garth Smith

Hello! I'm Garth Smith, a passionate photographer and videographer dedicated to capturing the beauty and essence of the world through my lens. What started with a love for nature and landscapes has evolved into a journey that now includes portraits, sports photography, and video production.

I find joy in freezing moments of raw emotion and fleeting action, whether it's the serene stillness of a mountain lake at sunrise, the intensity of an athlete in motion, or the dynamic energy of video storytelling.

Through my work, I aim to evoke feelings, tell stories, and showcase the unique spirit of each subject and scene I capture, both in still images and moving visuals. Join me as I explore the intersection of nature's grandeur and human expression, seeking to create content that resonates and inspires.

Selected photographs

  • A city street at dusk after rain, wet asphalt reflecting street lamps and lit shopfronts, parked cars receding toward tall stone buildings.
  • An editorial portrait framed through a doorway, a woman in a pale knit cardigan looking toward the camera with a blurred arm crossing the foreground.
  • A studio portrait on a white seamless background, a woman seated on the floor in a white top, jeans and trainers, leaning back on one arm.
  • An environmental portrait of a woman in a white summer dress seated at a small café table on a tiled terrace, smiling toward the camera.
